This website is hosted by Host Europe under the cPanel Webhosting Deluxe plan. The provider is Host Europe GmbH, c/o Spaces, Gertrudenstraße 30–36, 50667 Cologne, Germany.

When you access the website, technically necessary connection data are processed, including your IP address, the time of access, the requested resource and technical information transmitted by your browser. This serves to deliver the website, maintain operational security and detect errors or attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. The recipient is the hosting provider.

Host Europe specifies 14 days of retention for archived Apache logs in cPanel. These logs include IP addresses. The server-side statistics tools Webalizer and AWStats may record IP addresses, referring pages, countries of origin and browsers; according to the provider, these statistics remain stored until deleted.

Disabling statistics: We have asked Host Europe to disable server-side metrics, including Webalizer and AWStats. Implementation has not yet been confirmed. Until then, the statistics described above may continue to be processed. The 14-day retention period for archived Apache logs does not apply to these statistics.

Subprocessors and international processing: Host Europe uses additional service providers. Its published, cross-product subprocessor list also includes companies outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States and Ukraine. This does not establish that every listed service is involved in this website. Processing exclusively within Europe therefore cannot be guaranteed. The providers specifically involved in our plan and any applicable international transfer safeguards still need to be clarified with Host Europe. The current list is available through Host Europe’s contractual documents.

Please use your own email application to send enquiries. The email links on this website open the application configured for that purpose; the website does not provide a contact form. Only when you send a message are its contents and any information you include transmitted to the addressed mailbox.

Messages are handled in a local email application. The mailbox is synchronised with Host Europe via IMAP; messages are therefore stored on the mail server and, depending on the email application settings, additionally on the devices used.

We process your email address, your name where provided, the message contents, attachments and associated communication metadata to handle and respond to your enquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to enquiries concerning a contract with you. For general enquiries or correspondence with representatives of a business, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies; the legitimate interest is handling business enquiries.

Our email mailbox is hosted by Host Europe. Recipients include in particular Host Europe GmbH, identified above, as our email service provider; the sender’s services also participate in transmission. Information is deleted once the enquiry has been resolved, unless statutory retention duties or necessary retention for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require otherwise. Providing information is voluntary; without a reachable contact address and the information needed to handle the enquiry, we may be unable to respond.

The information in the hosting and server logs section also applies to the possible involvement of additional providers and international processing.

This website presents the business and its projects. Enquiries are sent through your own email application; no contact form is provided.

Language selection: The enabled Joomla language filter uses a cookie to manage the selected language. Its lifetime is configured as the browser session. Its purpose is to provide the selected language version. Where access to your device is strictly necessary for this function, it is based on section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Subsequent processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a functioning multilingual website.

We do not ourselves use tools for visitor analytics or advertising. This is distinct from the hosting provider’s logs and statistics, whose processing and requested shutdown are described above.

The apps presented here are additionally covered by their individual privacy notices linked from the project pages. This website notice does not replace the app privacy notices.

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). To exercise these rights, please contact the email address above.

Right to object: Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. Processing will then cease unless overriding compelling legitimate grounds apply or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time.

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with future effect. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Under Article 77 GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the place of your habitual residence, place of work or alleged infringement. The authority for the business location in Baden-Württemberg is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg.

The handling of enquiries described here does not involve decisions based solely on automated processing with legal or similarly significant effects, or corresponding profiling.
